Talulabell Review ~ Stick Bags with Raffia Pompoms
Hi Bag Lovers,
For today, I’ll be giving an honest review on an online named Talulabell Handmade Crafts (https://www.facebook.com/TalulaBellHandmadeCrafts/). I found them on Facebook while I was looking for native bags. Talulabell offers different range of native products like bags, wallets and baskets and so on. I was lucky to pass through their stick bags with raffia pompoms; I chose the bright red one because it stood out from the other bags. It was the one I was looking for to be paired for my summer look. I directly messaged them on their page to order.
After finalizing my orders, I paid it through LBC. Joy Olaguera, which was the owner confirmed my payment and told me that they would start the production of my bag the next day since it isn’t on hand at the moment. She also said that it would only take a week to make that’s why it wasn’t a problem for me since I was only going to wait for a couple of days. After a week, I messaged Talulabell for an update. It took a bit longer to get a response, they were able to respond after a day. Joy responded that they were still doing the pompoms and the handle of the bag. She asked me for a couple of days as an allowance. I know these things are inevitable that is why it wasn’t such a problem. I gave them another week for a longer allowance. After the second week, I was already expecting them to send it to me but to my disappointment, nothing came. I messaged them again the next week to check if what went wrong. There were no response for days. I was already thinking that I was scammed. I know that they have seen my messages since it was indicated that the message was already seen. It was devastating to not even get a response; it was my right to ask for an update. The next week, I received a message from them indicating that they’ve sent the bag. They only sent me a picture of the receipt, no explanations or anything. I think it was very rude that they ignored me when I asked updates and they would just send a picture of the receipt without explaining anything.
The stick bag was sent to me through JRS. I immediately opened it when it arrived and checked if there was any damage. After checking, I found out that there were unfinished stitches on the side of the bag. There was also only one pompom and the stick handle has a little crack on the side. I waited for a long time for a single bag to be made and shipped just to receive it and realize it wasn’t even worth waiting and spending on. I am so disappointed with Talulabell as well as their product.
I don’t recommend this shop and their products to anyone. If you ever pass through this online shop on Facebook, I suggest you just ignore it. Save yourself from disappointment.
That‘s it for today’s review. I hope you learned something today.
