Talulabell Review ~ Crochet Beatrice Bag Made Of Raffia

Hello everyone,

I’ll be giving my honest thoughts and review on an online shop named Talulabell Handmade Crafts (https://www.facebook.com/TalulaBellHandmadeCrafts/). I’ve seen this shop due to one of my Facebook friend’s shared post. I was interested to have a native bag for once and so I scrolled down on their products and found one that I liked. I decided to buy 2 pieces of their Beatrice Bag made of raffia. The other one is mine and the other one is for my sister. I messaged the page for my orders and there I had my transactions.

I paid my orders through bank deposit since it was more accessible in my part. The owner’s name was Joy Olaguera, she was the one I had my transactions with. She told me that they only have one bag available on hand as of the moment and so she asked for a week for the other bag to be made. It was fine with me since it was only a week of waiting. After a week, I messaged her to asked for an update. She responded a bit late, she said that they had an emergency that’s why they had stopped the production for a while, though I was disappointed I tried to understand the situation. I gave her another two weeks for them to have enough time to make the single bag. After the two weeks that I’ve given them, I messaged them again for an update. There was no response this time, I kept on messaging her for days but there is still no response. I was already worried that I might have been scammed. Since it took a long time and no one is responding to my messages, I decided to forget about it and move on. After a month of that incident, I was surprised to receive a message from Talulabell. They sent me a picture of the receipt from JRS. It means they’ve shipped the bags already. Though I lost interest already, it was still good to know that my money wasn’t spent for nothing. I really find it rude that they never responded to all my messages, they never even apologized for their delay. All I can say is that I’m really devastated.
I picked up the bags that were sent to me through JRS. I opened the parcel as I got home and to my surprise, it was all crumpled and deformed already. It looked untidy because there was still unfinished stitches of raffia on the sides. The handle was also a bit loose already, I was afraid that any heavy material would easily destroy it.

I don’t think I would recommend this shop and their products to anyone. The products were unsatisfactory as well as the customer service was terrible. If you guys want to buy native products, I suggest you guys save your money and find other shops that are more reliable.

That‘s all for today guys. I hope you learned something today. Until next week.
