Talulabell Review ~ Tan Jute Round Beatrice

For today, I’ll be giving you my honest review on an online shop named Talulabell Handmade Crafts (https://www.facebook.com/TalulaBellHandmadeCrafts/). They offer a lot of native products like bags, wallets, baskets and etc. I had a chance to see their post on Facebook and decided to explore their page. As I looked through their page, I found some really nice bags which I liked a lot. I decided to try ordering their Tan Jute round Beatrice bag; I messaged them directly on their page. I got a response the next day.

Payment of my orders was through Palawan Express since there was a branch near my place. After paying, I sent the proof of payment, Joy Olaguera, which was the owner was the one I had my transactions with. The bag was said to be for production since the last bag was already sold before I ordered. The owner asked me to wait for a week for the bag to be finished. She also said it will only be quick since it’s only a single bag. I patiently waited for a week before I messaged them for an update. I got a response the next day, Joy said that they weren’t still done with the bag since the weaver in charge was sick. Though saddened, it was fine with me since I know these things are inevitable. I agreed with Joy and waited for another week to pass before I asked for another update. When I messaged them again, they responded this time that the bag is almost done but they had an emergency so they want to ask for more time. By this time, I was thinking that I was a scammed but I still said okay and waited for the bag to be done. I decided to give them two more weeks for an extra time. The two weeks I gave was the last allowance of time I’m giving them, it was already a long time for a single bag. When two weeks passed, I messaged them again for an update. Joy said they will send it by Monday the next week. It was long overdue but I don’t care anymore, as long as they send me the bag.

The bag was sent to me through JRS. I immediately opened it when it arrived to see its quality. To be honest, I was disappointed with how it turned out. The zipper on the sling bag wasn’t stitched well. The sling also looks like it will fall off easily and lastly the color was so different from what I ordered. It took a very long time to make and the quality was not even good. It’s a lesson learned for me, I’m not buying anything from Talulabell ever again. 

I won’t be recommending this shop and their products to anyone. Their products aren’t worth what you are spending. There are other shops out there which are more reliable and trustworthy.
